One Nation leader Pauline Hanson says the state governments failed the people by not stopping the Black Lives Matter protests from going ahead amid fears of a spike in COVID-19 cases in Victoria.
Mr Hanson targeted the Queensland, WA, and Victorian Labor governments for allowing the large protests to go ahead, which she said was partly to blame for the spike in Victoria.
“They allowed it to go ahead because of the left leaning politics to do with it,” Ms Hanson told Sky News host Peter Gleeson.
Black Lives Matter rallies occurred in most Australia cities – Including in Sydney and Adelaide – in solidarity with the killing of unarmed African-American man George Floyd as well as protesting against Indigenous deaths in custody.
