We’re not sure exactly how it happened but suddenly we found ourselves in the middle of summer. Where did the time go? How did it drag on so slowly yet pass so quickly? We’re pretty sure this happens every summer, but this year, perhaps because of the situation we all found ourselves in globally, the summer really is getting away from us. So we thought perhaps we should create a checklist of things we could try and do before the summer is over. It’s hard to take into consideration every COVID-19 rule and restriction that is applicable in every country because everything is changing from day to day and every country and city has their own regulations in place, but we tried to make sure it’s something you can do safely. But you know, check for yourself and adapt when it’s needed, or just skip on some that aren’t safe wherever you live.
1.
Brunch Alfresco
Have brunch with
your partner or friend, al fresco. We know cafes are opening up again
and certain places offer outdoor seating cause that’s safer. It’s
something we would usually take for granted, but this summer you can
really cherish a meal in a cafe with a friend or two.
2.
Picnic In The Park
If parks in your
area are open you can easily pack a basket of snacks and fruits, some
soda and, hell, bring a pie if you wanna, and have a nice little
picnic outside. You can even do a socially distanced picnic where
each of you brings their own snacks and blankets and you keep the
distance of 2 meters but still, get to hang out together.
3.
Dress Up For No Reason
Dress up in your
best outfits even if there’s no occasion for it. Gatherings are
limited these days, so you probably won’t get to show off your
style that way, but you can always dress up for a regular walk or a
run to the store. Take this opportunity to make Instagram photos to
share your awesome outfit not only with the strangers outside but
friends online too.
4.
Instagram Photoshoot
You don’t need a reason for a photoshoot, but summer does have the best weather and it’s the best time to take colorful cheerful pictures. You can pick a theme with your friends and then take your photos separately and see what each of you did.
