Liberal Senator Amanda Stoker says Victorians are sadly paying the price of having a government which is “good at politics” but horrible at governing.

“That’s why they botched hotel quarantine,” Senator Stoker told Sky News host Alan Jones.

“The entire state is paying the price”.

She said New South Wales is the standout example of how the pandemic should have been handled in Victoria citing the states efficient and effective contact tracing and testing.

“New South Wales has had testing, has had tracing, has had outbreak containment; it hasn’t had draconian curfews, it hasn’t shut down the economy.”
