Jim’s Mowing founder Jim Penman says Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews puts politics first, politics second and health a very distant third.
His comments come after Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews announcement on Sunday 127,000 workers across the state will return to work, including lawnmowers.
Mr Penman said it’s good his company and workers can return to work, “but it’s outrageous they were off for eight weeks”.
“What on earth is the reason, there was no danger to health in any of our guys,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“What makes it even more stupid is that dog salons with multiple workers can work, and our people can’t work, even though they’re by themselves.
“The premier is politics first, politics second, and health a very distant third.
“The outrage in the people I‘ve spoken to is extraordinary.
“A lot of people are angry about this.”
