A funeral service for two young men who died in the political fracas in Kenol, Murang’a two weeks ago has taken place in Thika town before their burial in Murang’a. Christopher Mungai and Peter Mbothu became victims of political violence on October 4th this year at a church function graced by deputy president William Ruto. and though organizers had resorted to exclude politicians from addressing the mourners, some politicians still showed up and spoke, notably governor James Nyoro and William Kabogo.
