Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will spend Martin Luther King Day thinking they are acting in the best interest of the legacy of the late civil rights leader, but their actions “completely and utterly have shown otherwise,” says Jacinta Price.
The Alice Springs Councillor told Sky News the president-elect and his team have not yet shown they are trying to work in the best interests of black Americans, but instead “pander to identity politics”.
“I guess Biden and Kamala will be spending the day acting as though they’re acting in the best interests of Dr Martin Luther King,” she said.
“Where no doubt their actions completely and utterly have shown otherwise.”
