Matt Kean must have ‘started to count’ and wonder about his ‘political future’

NSW Energy Minister Matt Kean must have “started to count” and wonder where his “political future was going,” according to Labor MP Joel Fitzgibbon.

Speaking with Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell on Sunday, Mr Kean said Australia could see small modular nuclear reactors – the size of shipping containers – commercially available by the mid-2030s.

“He’s on the march isn’t he,” Mr Fitzgibbon told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“Good on him for speaking the truth about the possibilities on nuclear generation.”
