Punjab’s Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on Friday said he has ordered a probe into the opposition’s allegations that the state government has been “diverting” Covid vaccines to private hospitals.
Union Minister Prakash Javadekar slammed the Amarinder-led govt saying that at a time when Punjab is facing a resurgent virus, the govt is busy profiteering from the pandemic. He also accused the Punjab govt of selling vaccines at Rs 1600 to a private hospital, when it buys the same vaccine from the Centre at Rs 400.
