After submitting his resignation to the Governor, Amarinder Singh said he was ‘feeling humiliated’ as a result of the actions of the party high command. He even responded to a question about who will succeed him as chief minister by saying, “Whoever they (Congress) have faith in, they can make.” The Congress high command is expected to announce the new Punjab chief minister soon.
