Andrew Constance resigns from NSW Cabinet, will shift to federal politics | 7NEWS

New South Wales’ new Premier will need to appoint a new transport & roads minister after south coast MP Andrew Constance MP announced his intention to leave state politics for federal politics.

Andrew Constance says he intends to be a member of the NSW Parliament ‘until the end of the parliamentary session.’

“It’s not the time for by-elections right now, at the peak of this pandemic.”

Mr Constance also described Gladys Berejiklian’s resignation as ‘heartbreaking’ and ‘incredibly unfair’.
