๐ Today was all about testing and working out our players baselines, so we had the data to record and work on during the term
๐ช We were recording many performance metrics today including 3m, 10m and 40m sprint speeds, pro agility, running with the ball, changing direction with and without the ball whilst using our specialised laser timing gates to record all this data.
๐ We also measured how many press ups, crunches, burpees, seated squats they could do within a minute as well as measuring their balance. Weights and heights are also measured so that we have the BMIs for each player.
๐ We believe it’s so important to record our players performance metrics so that when we work through our strength and conditioning programs we can re test at the end of the term to make sure what we are doing with our players is working and giving them the full advantages available to them on the soccer pitch.
