Rajasthan Political Crisis: मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष पद का चुनाव लड़ने का ऐलान किया था. इसके बाद से चर्चा थी कि गहलोत के अध्यक्ष बनने के बाद उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री पद छोड़ना पड़ेगा और उनकी जगह सचिन पायलट लेंगे. सोनिया गांधी ने इसके लिए सचिन पायलट और अशोक गहलोत से बात भी की थी. हालांकि, सचिन पायलट को लेकर कोई ऐलान होता, उससे पहले ही राजस्थान में बगावत हो गई और अशोक गहलोत खेमे के करीब 90 विधायकों ने इस्तीफा दे दिया.
