Congress President Election: राजस्थान कांग्रेस में कलह के बाद सीएम अशोक गहलोत की मुश्किलें बढ़ती नजर आ रही हैं. गहलोत समर्थक विधायकों की बगावत के बाद माना जा रहा है कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष की रेस में अशोक गहलोत को लेकर आम राय नहीं है. ऐसे में दिग्विजय सिंह, कमलनाथ, मुकुल वासनिक, केसी वेणुगोपाल और खड़गे जैसे पार्टी के बड़े नेता कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष की रेस में आ गए हैं. अशोक गहलोत अभी भी केंद्रीय नेतृत्व के अंतिम निर्णय की प्रतीक्षा करेंगे.
अशोक गहलोत अब कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष की रेस से बाहर नजर आ रहे हैं. अध्यक्ष चुनाव लड़ने को लेकर दिग्विजय सिंह ने अपनी इच्छा व्यक्त की है. कमलनाथ को भी दिल्ली बुलाया गया है. इनके अलावा मुकुल वासनिक का नाम सीडब्ल्यूसी के पहले जी-23 पत्र में अध्यक्ष पद के लिए प्रस्तावित किया गया था और मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी की पसंद हैं.
सुशील कुमार शिंदे पार्टी की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी की पसंद हैं. ये कुछ नेता हैं जो अब अध्यक्ष पद के चुनाव के लिए मैदान में उतर सकते हैं. अशोक गहलोत अभी भी केंद्रीय नेतृत्व के अंतिम शब्द का इंतजार करेंगे.
कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष चुनाव को लेकर ये स्थिति राजस्थान में गहलोत खेमे के विधायकों के बगावत करने के बाद पैदा हुई है. इससे पहले कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष चुनाव के लिए राजस्थान के सीएम अशोक गहलोत और कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर का नाम आगे चल रहा था. कांग्रेस में ‘एक व्यक्ति-एक पद’ के सिद्धांत के कारण अगर सीएम अशोक गहलोत पार्टी के अध्यक्ष बनते तो उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा देना पड़ता.
