Join me for a live discussion of a how classic Stoic philosophy can inform our political commitments, engagements, and actions. Contrary to popular misrepresentations, Stoics did not advocate quietism or withdrawal from politics and one’s community. To the contrary, Stoic philosophy stresses engagement in the political and social realms.
I will be making a presentation on these topics for about 20 minutes or so. After the presentation, the discussion will proceed as I take questions and address comments from the viewing audience.
