With all that’s going on in the Haschak Sisters’ GOSSIP GIRL music video, you’d be forgiven for missing a few things about the video. There are also a few other things that you might not have been aware of when it comes to making the video. That being said, here’s our Top 10 List of things you didn’t know!.

Number 9) It Was Really Windy During Filming
One of the worst things about filming outside is that you’re at the mercy of the weather, and the same is just as true for the GOSSIP GIRL video. During filming, the wind grew increasingly stronger to the point that it became difficult to shoot. Because of that, it took quite a few takes to get the outside scenes done.
Number 8) Basketball Fun
Hanging around in the basket court in the video wasn’t all just to get some footage; many members of the crew were able to play for a while before and after filming their scenes, leading to quite a few games being played. Everyone got a turn on the pitch, while some even got to sit on the hoop!
Number 7) Playing Dress-Up
Who doesn’t like playing dress up? With the scenes needed for the GOSSIP GIRL music video, everyone got to have fun with a little bit of dress up to get into character. Not a surprise since the production value of the Haschak Sisters videos is always through the roof!
Number 6) Creative Filming
Some shots took a little bit more effort than others, with a few even needing the cameramen to get a little creative with the camera; in certain instances they even needed climbing on furniture to get the right shot!
Number 5) Fun With Faces
The majority of GOSSIP GIRL scenes come across as fun to watch and look like they must have been fun to film. This couldn’t be truer for the hallway scene, as everyone had a great time making faces for the camera while singing!
Number 4) Chess
The two kids playing chess during filming weren’t pretending – they were actually in the middle of a serious game! In addition to that, apparently both of the actors were the best chess players on set, making them the best choice for filming an interesting game on camera.
Number 3) On-Set Friendships
Many people might think that co-workers can’t be friends, but this wasn’t the case. Everyone on the set of GOSSIP GIRL hit it off instantly and struck up some true friendships, as most of them have been lasting even to this day after more than 2 years from the shooting date.
Number 2) Cordoned Off
Like many other sets, the one for the GOSSIP GIRL music video had every location for themselves. Because of that, they had to film at weird times, such as in the school over the weekend or in the evening.
Number 1) Admiring The View
You’d think that some people would want to leave once they’ve done all their scenes. However, almost everybody stuck around during the entire shoot to get a good look at how the video was coming together. That helped a lot in mantaining a joyful vibe and a great chemestry between the actors!
