The Department of Health and Exercise Sciences is home to three bachelor of science degrees which will help prepare graduates with the skills needed to help others improve their quality of life. Graduates will have many career options to choose from including health care, nutrition education, fitness, sports performance, rehabilitation, older adult wellness, and community health.
Graduates from these programs may also choose to apply for a variety of advanced degrees that include physical and occupational therapy, exercise physiology, public health, nutrition, physician assistant, and exercise science.
The three majors are:
BS Exercise Science and Health Promotion
BS Health Science
BS Public Health
