Dr. Ajit Mapari is the founder of “Fit2Sport,” a sports specialty clinic in Pune, Maharashtra. His experience spans more than 18 years in the areas of injury prevention and management, sports-specific fitness guidance and program execution, and covering events as a sports doctor.
Dr. Mapari is also a director at ISSRA (Integrated Sports Science Research Association) and the IRBF (International Roll Ball Federation). He completed his Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of Exeter, Devon, UK, and has served as the team doctor of the FC Pune City team representing the Indian Super League (ISL).
Notably, he was assigned by the ICC (International Cricket Council) as a DCO/Chaperon for the India-Australia ODI series 2013 and India – West Indies test match series 2013.
