~Synopsis~
Jade agrees to help after learning the Shadows are aware of where Artemis lives with Lian. Her own research confirms Casandra is believed to be on the run and nobody has even heard of Oynx, making her extremely dangerous. A psychic read from Looker also doesn’t help matters. Jade questions both Oynx and Cassandra about why they left; Cassandra claiming Vandal killing her sister, lying to her that her mother was dead and raising her as a weapon triggered her defection. Oynx claims she was loyal to Ra’s al Ghul and Sensei but hates that Deathstroke and Lady Shiva run the Shadows now. Shadows Black Spider and Rictus attack to capture Cassandra; Artemis, Jade, Orphan and Oynx hold them off. However, Shiva appears and captures Orphan, giving Artemis 24 hours to turn over Cassandra or Orphan dies. Jade reveals Orphan is Shiva’s daughter (also named), Cassandra, whom was abused and trained as the ultimate assassin before Batman took her in. Jade leaves while Oynx and Cassandra Savage agree to go to Santa Prisca with Artemis to get Orphan back. Meanwhile, Garfield has returned to Earth in a depressive state, still grieving Conner’s death by refusing Outsiders missions and learns news of Brion welcoming all metahumans to Markovia, escalating the refugee crisis in Vlatava as non-metas flee. In a mid-credits scene, a genomorph mourns Connor, while Artemis’ narrates quotes from Through the Looking-Glass.
