ELECTORAL ACT BILL | Direct Primary is a Money Bag Politics, Lawyer Says

The National Assembly has decided to re-amend the Electoral Act Amendment Bill by approving both direct and indirect primaries as the modes for electing candidates by political parties.

The Senate also added the “Consensus Clause” for the nomination of candidates by political parties for elective positions.
