Not even a week after the verdict on the infamous Johnny Depp – Amber Heard trial, people have already gone wild on the internet, cheering for Johnny Depp’s victory. We are all aware that ever since Johnny’s chaotic divorce with the Aquaman actress, people have chosen sides already – most of which are siding with Depp – but not only are the fans and the public doing so, celebrities are too. Many celebrities have stood up to defend Depp against Amber Heard’s claims of domestic maltreatment even from the start. The actor’s ex-girlfriends, co-actors, former crew members, and more have taken every little step to defend Johnny from Amber and the media. Those selfless acts were not put to waste, obviously, after more than three years of rumors and issues that seemed to never fade. However, now that the Virginian jury has recently proven Amber’s elaborate hoax to defame Johnny and to portray herself as a victim rather than a perpetrator, celebrities are again taking the stand and choosing their sides by reacting to the latest verdict. So, what do various celebrities have to say about the Depp-Heard trial? That’s what we’re going to find out in this video and more. But before any of that, make sure that you subscribe to our channel and you smash that notification bell for more updates on this. Now, let’s dive in!

The judgement in the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial has elicited enthusiastic reactions from a number of celebrities. Heard defamed Depp on all three counts, and the jury gave him $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive penalties. Compensation of $2 million was given to Heard, but no punitive damages were imposed. Pretty Little Liars actor Ashley Benson expressed her support for Depp shortly after the decision was announced by uploading a photo of him on Instagram with the message “Yesssss.”

Other celebs, such as Greg Ellis from Pirates of the Caribbean and Laurie Holden from The Boys, have weighed in on Depp’s behalf. “Today justice was served,” Holden wrote on Twitter. “The verdict of the jury sent a message to the world that maltreatment has no gender and that facts actually do matter.”

“Plant your flag for Johnny Depp,” Ellis said and continued to tweet other comments, including, “And today, justice was served.”

Depp’s “Dark Shadows” co-star Eva Green even took to Instagram to proclaim she had “no doubt” that he would “emerge with his good name and wonderful heart revealed to the world, and life will be better than it ever was for him and his family.”

Drew Dixon tweeted a link to a Washington Post article that examines the impact the verdict will have on the #MeToo movement, adding, “People underestimate the depth of will and courage it takes to talk about one of the most humiliating things that ever happened to you. It’s an enormous mountain every victim climbs before they say #MeToo I think that mountain became exponentially taller.”

While more and more celebrities are now stepping up to vocally support Johnny Depp after the successful verdict, many have backed him even before the verdict came.

Chris Rock took the stage during the UK leg of his “Ego Death” world tour on May 12 and reportedly discussed Depp’s allegations that Heard defacated on his bed. According to British digital publisher LADBible, the comic told the crowd, “Believe all women … except Amber Heard.”

On the other hand, Ireland Baldwin called Heard a “terrible person” on an Instagram Story amid the trial. “The thing is, I know women who are exactly like this,” Alec Baldwin’s oldest child said in late April. “They are manipulative and cold and they use their very womanhood to play victim and turn the world against the man because we live in a society where it’s cool to say men are all the worst,” he added.

Joe Rogan also condemned Heard on his popular podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” saying she is a “crazy lady” and that her allegations are “not true.” “Doug Stanhope knows her. Stanhope’s buddies with Johnny Depp. He wrote something … like a little essay about how full of lies she is, and she threatened to sue him, and I think he had to wind up taking it down.”

Apparently, Johnny isn’t getting love from fans alone, but from his own circle as well. Does this mean he is about to retake Hollywood again and get more roles in the future? That is for us to find out. That’s all for today, we hope you enjoyed that video and if you did, don’t forget to hit that like and subscribe button and smash that notification bell for more episodes.
