‘No good’ can come from Pope Francis ‘playing politics’

IPA Executive Director John Roskam says “no good” can come from Pope Francis “playing politics” after expressing his opinion on the Ukraine-Russia war.

Pope Francis said Russia’s war in Ukraine was “perhaps somehow either provoked or not prevented” by NATO.

“He is trying to play to a left-wing crowd, he’s trying to play to an international crowd that thinks there is fault on both sides,” he told Sky News host Rowan Dean.
