A Twitter war erupted between Union Minister and BJP leader Giriraj Singh and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Friday over the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader’s poll promise of 10 lakh jobs made earlier. The war of words erupted after the Lok Sabha BJP MP tweeted a clip of an interview of Tejashwi Yadav in which he was heard promising 10 lakh jobs in Bihar. Taking a swipe at the Yadav scion, the senior saffron party leader said the RJD leader would fulfil his election promise of providing 10 lakh jobs only after he becomes the chief minister as at present he is a deputy.
Nitish Kumar had a message for the Narendra Modi government. Without taking names, Nitish said, “Those who came to power in 2014, will they be victorious in 2024?” He however added that he himself was not a “contender for any such post”.
